Another beginning

And so it begins. The first day of High School. As you can see, she's not nearly as emotional about it as I am.

It doesn't happen very often, but I'm speechless.

She looks so grown up! Lovely set. :) I just moved into my first "adult" home (i.e. not an apartment) and there's been a lot of little beginnings nestled in that major new beginning!

Beautiful girl, beautiful photos. I can't even imagine high school yet. Mine is just starting 2nd grade and that seems emotional enough for now!

New beginnings? Too many to recount. New camera, expanding my business, building a new website - overwhelmed but excited at the same time....

She is gorgeous, Tracey! Love all the photos of her first day. They grow up too fast, don't they? I remember the day when my son sat on a school bus for the first time in his junior kindergarten, he was so full of excitement and I cried the whole way back from the bus stop to our house.

New beginnings.. My second child is just starting kindergarten next week, after 7 and half years I am going to have child free mornings. Looking for a job at the moment. A lot of new things are ahead for us.

Yes! Daughter (14) - first day of high school; Son (15) - Got his PERMIT today! (Ahhhh!); Me (39 again!) - first semester in Grad School. Whew!!! God help me!

lots of beginnings here too...my eldest began high school this week as well, my baby began first grade, and i have begun looking towards a new career. scary, but changes happen, and we can only sit back & enjoy them :)

Lovely photos...my daughter started high school this week too and it all seems so unreal. I see her looking all grown up and taller than me and still can't quite believe my baby is in high school. Sometimes it is as if I am looking at some one else's daughter....because when we are home....she is still my little girl giggling about silly stuff.

what a beautiful series of photos - embarking on a new beginning that she will carry with her always. my little one starts italian prma (kinder) this month **sigh** and the baby turns 2 tomorrow **bigger sigh**. it's like trying to hold onto water in your hands, isn't it - so fleeting, so beautiful and yet a bit heartbreaking too.

High school life, it's such a fun experience for me. I met two of my most wonderful friends during that period and it's nice to know that even if we're living separate lives, the closeness is still there. I love them both! What beginnings am I starting these days? Hmmm practicing patience and understanding. I'm having mood swings because of my hormones, so, I can't really blame myself. But still people I love are getting affected, so, I need to be more patient and understanding.
