Ambassadors of the Environment

I was recently invited to The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel to learn more about their new partnership with Jean-Michel Cousteau and his Ambassadors of of the Environment program. We met Jean-Michel and heard from him and the fine folks at The Ritz about their thoughts on the partnership and what they had in store for participants. One word: WOW!

They are offering so many amazing experiences that will take children and adults alike from the garden, to the kitchen, to the seashore and even in the ocean--my personal favorite is the snorkeling adventure where you get to take underwater pictures--there is something for everyone. All of the amazing excursions The Ritz are listed with details on their website.

One of the many nice things about the program for us locals is that you can register without having to stay at the hotel making it a perfect staycation, day trip option. But, let's be honest, there is nothing I'd rather do than stay at The Ritz. It. Is. Gorgeous. And with the kind and accommodating staff, they really do make you feel right at home. Kind of like being the Queen of the castle. We can all use pampering like that once in a while.

At the event we got to take the Garden Tour (which is complimentary and is offered daily) and I couldn't stop taking pictures. Such is the life of a photographer I guess. Just the tour alone made me feel like I was on vacation! We ended the evening perched on amazing patio of the new 180 BLU. The view was breathtaking and it was the perfect end to an eco-exquisite afternoon.

The taste of the good life has never been so good and made such a difference on so many levels. I simply cannot wait to go back.

Thanks to The Ritz-Carlton for such a lovely evening and thanks to my sister for the invite!
