Friday Light : Seek and Find

As I stepped out onto the beach in Baja for the first time on my recent trip I thought to myself I cannot wait to find all the treasures just waiting to be discovered. It's a fairly deserted stretch of coast along the gulf of Mexico, pristine and untouched. There are millions of tiny pieces of the sea scattered along the sand as far as the eye can see.

As I slowly walked down the hill from my father's house to get the beach below I looked down at the first cluster of shells and rocks that had collected up near my feet.  The very first thing that came into focus was a small heart-shaped piece of white coral. Of course it was. I just smiled knowing full well that what you seek, so too you shall find.

What kind of discoveries have lit up your world recently? Share your own Friday Light.

Speaking of light; have you seen what Ali Edwards shared over at the I am Enough Collaborative? She's full of insight and illumination, that girl.

I was out in the front yard the other night enjoying the gorgeous light and looked down to see Ted's fur making the coolest shadows: http://www.flickr.com/photos/trudem/4502049944/ Don't know why, it just really drew a response from me. :)
