creating happiness
Sunday, January 3, 2010 at 10:04PM Winter break is coming to end. We spent much of the weekend getting things back in order from an enjoyable and very busy holiday. But, we managed to get in a little creativity.
My youngest has been embracing the artist within her (a true pleasure to watch) and my oldest is taking a greater interested in creating something on the web. Namely, her own blog. I'm so excited (albeit a little nervous) as she creatively branches out. My awesome girl!
And how are you branching out this week? How are you creating your brand New Year? Share your best shots for the first Best Shot Monday of 2010.

I have been busy with my new lens (woot!) and can't wait to take it to the Botanical Gardens on Tues. I know I can say that here and not sound like a dork :)
Here's to New Beginning and (One Small Change)
Happy New Year!
I have found you from the one word project. This year I have set myself the challenge to learn about my new camera and improve my photography skills.I choose the word CAPTURE.One of my first attempts at using the camera is here.My friend only has out of focus phone shots of her Grandson,so I took along my camera to snap him as he woke up.

I found this affirmation for new years day... I give myself the gift of having fun. Life is meant to be enjoyed. My delight in living is contagious, and I uplift others when I have fun. This sounds like the perfect gift for this bright and shiny new year!
love her painting -- my favorite art hanging on our walls is stuff my kids have created.
here's my road to the new year.
I am creating a year of peace, new beginnings, a new chapter. I could not wait to snap this photo symbolic of what i hope the year will bring.

New Year Recap
Very cute picture and her blog has a lot of spunk! love it! Check out how this week begins for the IE Mommy!
negotiation is tricky, new year or not. here's mine: http://imabima.blogspot.com/2010/01/negotiation.html
funny enough, my 8yo started a blog this week too! his is to document the books he's read. i'm not sure yet about making it public but i can't think of why not....
Love the girls' creativity. What fun to see that flourish.
Here's my best shot. Happy 2010!
The holidays are definitely the best time to create some happiness, especially as sometimes they feel more stressful than happy. I think that alot when the family comes to visit. My brother was with us this year and we created some happiness while visiting the Taos Pueblo.
Isn't amazing to watch them express themselves—whether it is art or blogging they have so much to share. My oldest daughter has been working on her own blog as well. Although it has not gone "public" yet, it is incredible to watch her develop such a strong sense of her own voice.
Great work Mama!
I just take Prozac.
Looks like she is a fantastic artist, just like her mom! Winter break is over here too... :(
So not surprising that your girls are crazy talented...they totally take after their mom.
I was doing a little looking in on this fine first Monday of 2010!
Happy New Year!
