bright spots

Our weekend was pretty uneventful. Sleepy and slow. Although there's a lot going on and much to do, weekends can still remain sacred now and again (when the planets align and our calendar allows).

Monday morning and it's business as usual but as for the last few days, the bright spots were...well...pink and purple mostly.

What did your weekend look like?

We've been lying low for the last few days, recovering from the holiday whirlwind. Here are my best shots - a tea party on the floor. Doesn't get much better than that.

Love those polka-dotss

Our weekend was still cold. But warm enough to learn something new.

I love those lazy weekends spent with family. We had one of the busiest weekends ever, but we had a lot of fun!

As alwasys the weekends are filled with kids' activities...but I did find myself able to take a few alone moments on my daily walk.

Lots of family time this weekend. It was wonderful. My BSM is a "separated at birth" shot! http://www.ordinarycourage.com/my-blog/2010/1/10/bsm-my-little-outlier.html

Hi Tracey (waving at ya!) I'm back. Love the polka dots and the "do". I'm sharing an image from a trip to the desert last week. More of a bright "square" than a bright "spot"!

Love the polka dots! We were busy this weekend too but my youngest caught my eye and was the Best Shot this weekend.

We've been stuck indoors for weeks now! Lots of snow and bitterly cold temps. So lots of time to work on taking indoor pictures.

Hello Tracey,

Your weekend sounded like the kinda weekend I will be hoping for the coming weekend. Mine was full of tasks and chores, though today has started off nice and I am hopeful that the week will continue to get better :)

Here is my contribution for Best Shot Monday Afternoon Break

Have a nice afternoon, Liz

I adore sleepy and slow weekends. It's been so blustery and cold here, that we're kinda getting used to the cabin fever. I played a lot w/ my new fuji instax---no pics to share--still working out the kinks of getting them scanned.

It was not a sleepy, slow weekend for us. Instead, there was much celebration and even a little imperfection .

Dante was totally into playing with his ball all Saturday afternoon (usually his attention span is shorter than that): http://www.flickr.com/photos/trudem/4261463532/

And I got to exchange Xmas gifts with Nancy finally, and she found the perfect thing for me: http://www.flickr.com/photos/trudem/4264057723/

I decided to explore a neighboring town & had intended to post something different entirely. But then a I had a little incident (fell in front of a biker bar), and decided one something else. www.thegypsychick.net
