work and play

With my new crazy and intense work schedule (details will follow soon) my children are desperate for some mom-time. With that said, nothing beats an afternoon at the beach.

Fresh air + low tide + sunshine + family= a perfect Sunday.

For more great play pictures, check out the One Word Project at Shutter Sisters. This month's word is Play. Be sure to add some of your shots into the pool!

That's where we probably should have been, the beach; but we stayed home this weekend and played. I can't complain about spending time with my boy.

Here's how I start my day. I wish I had a beach to go to!

On my walk I am.

Such a fun photo. We were watching some football last night and feeling jealous of the glorious southern california weather. Your photo is only serving to deepen those sinful feelings, but I mean that in the best possible way.

My photos were the positive outcome of a somewhat negative situation. Take a look!

Our weekend was rainy and gloomy. Glad you were able to enjoy some sunshine.

I spent a wonderful day with a lot of "pretend" brides. Come on over and see. Wish I had been at the beach...beautiful.

Spent the weekend with family, my niece lost her 2 front teeth at the same time. She was so excited to get them out so that the tooth fairy would come.

Squam was perfection for me and many a time I wished you were there. Here's just a few of my shots from the last couple days.

Can't wait to hear what is new and next for you with work!!

What an awesome photo! Her expression is absolutely priceless! :)

Sunday I went to a wedding, where both the bride and groom were horseback.

We punctuated our working Sunday with a trip to the park, which might have put us one step closer to another go at a day at the shore.
Looking forward to reading more about your crazy but exciting work schedule!

We almost headed to the beach, but got a last minute request for some babysitting help. It turned into a very eye-opening peek into the future though.

I bet the beach was perfect this weekend...I'm glad you all got some downtime, and "Mom-time!"

Here is perfection for our family. Trips to the lake have been too far and few between this summer, but we enjoy every minute we are there!
