super hazy

With so much going on and so many daily obligations I am finding so little time to do the little things that bring me joy. Spending time here for instance. I'm letting days pass without a word and it breaks my heart a little. It really does. This blog brings me pleasure. It has become my heart's canvas.
Instead of resigning myself to giving up, I am giving myself permission to share imags even if there is no story to match. A picture is worth a thousand words (sometimes more) and so when I don't have time for words, I'll be letting life through my lens do the talking for me.
I guess I didn't have to warn you or explain myself but for some reason I feel like there's a lot of change and transition happening in my life and I guess it just feels good to acknowledge it. I'm at a kind of cross-roads which is never easy I'm really thankful and happy that I have this blog to help me map out my course. And with all of you here with me, I've got great company along the way.
Ever feel like this? Like there's just not enough time do everything that's expected of you and that sooner or later something's gotta give? Yep. I figured you did.

Yes. And yes.
I frequently "release" through humor and photographs.
Take care sweet sister.
Oh, I get it. I do. I even posted something along these lines earlier today for SOOC Saturday. Do what you have to do. We've got your back!
Oh you have no idea. I was hopeful that back to school would mean more time for me, but alas no, actually less. 'm headed to Squam next week fully unprepared, but letting go of any expectation except to be there. I miss you when you don't blog, because that's the only connection we have. And after having met you, it's a little reminder of your grace and kindness.
Right there with you and was actually thinking of doing the same thing...letting my lens tell some of the stories of what is going on in my life. What is inspiring me, what catches my eye, the moments that only a picture can tell the story.
So know what you are talking about
Lovely picture regardless
I am with you. xo
OH MY.....Wanna see how smack on you are...check out the parallels between our posts today!

Absolutely! I know several people who are feeling the same way right now, including myself. I'm not sure if it's the overall economy and changes that we've all made or that we're just working harder and not making time to do the things that bring us joy. I did a similar post two days ago about the daily stresses taking a toll on our lives. If I could get back to yoga and my ceramics, I know that I would feel better.
I've been reading your blog for a few months now and I really enjoy your photos and your posts.
I like that picture! I love the hazy look to it...like summer is gone and fall is on it's way...
thanks for all the support ladies! i knew i wasn't alone on this one!
Oh, I'm in the same place as you. With taking on a second job I'm having a hard time trying to find a place where I can still do things that bring me joy. I think I have a plan, we'll see if it works. What I find funny about all this is when I had more time, I had a hard time finding out where I was supposed to go, finding inspiration to do something, feeling like I was not who I wanted to be and had no idea how to get to where I wanted to be. Now that I'm super busy, I've come up with a short movie concept, a quilt idea and tons of yearning for time to draw, paint and shoot. Well, we'll get there one way or another.
life certainly is too busy these days. luckily your pictures bring just a bit of calm to my usually crazy days. thanks for sharing!
xoxo, K
whatever the crossroads are... i feel like our paths always align. i'm with you on this one too. xo
