messages (a small series)

Although it may be true that a picture is worth a thousand words, sometimes the words themselves are what seep down into our soul, between the cracks, settling into our bones, and changing us forever.

There were so many powerful words shared between friends, between sisters while I was away. On tags and tickets and on skin and canvas. Words, phrases, affirmations that gave us power and permission. Words that set us free.

I will be sharing some of these sacred and holy messages here in the next few days. I hope you breathe them in and hold them close as I have done. Open your heart-prepare to be lovebombed-because as Jen Lemen would say, something healing this way comes.

I'm new to your beautiful blog and look forward to reading through your posts. And for today, I will wait for "something healing this way comes."

Tracey, it looks like such a wonderful, dreamy time. I love the images on your Flickr pool. Right up my alley because I love words. (I just seem to use them enough). "Free" would have to be my word. Just be "free". So much easier said then done.

Begin with the most frightening of all things
a clean slate
then look every day at the choices you're making
and when you ask why you're making them
find this answer
because they're what I want or wish for
because they reflect who or what I am
