My name is Kate, and I just happened to find your site from Ali Edwards blog post. I love you blog, and your pictures. I am a wife and mama to two lively, wonderful boys. I live out in the middle of nowhere on a ranch. I am often found chasing cows out of my yard in flip flops! Luckily we have no neighbors. I was wondering what kind of camera you use? You see I have this dream...this goal...I want to take pictures of my life in the best way possible. I would like to purchase a DSLR, and I was wondering if you have any suggestions for an ameteur photographing with a passion for telling our ranch story.
I might even open a photography studio in the small town that we live 17 miles from. I am thinking I might call it The Rancher's Wifes Photography?!? What do you think?

I really enjoyed viewing your sites. I am in the process of purchasing my first SLR camera. I was hoping you could offer some suggestions on beginner cameras and how to start a website like the one you have :)

I can't wait to hear how things are going with Steph and Jen! I reconnected with Stephanie a few months ago, (I had not talked with her since high school- we had some pretty silly fun then!) and she led me to Shutter Sisters- I am so glad she did. I am a budding photographer wanna be (I inherited my fathers old equipment- he was a true photographer) and felt an instant connection with it- like a piece of me had been found that I was not aware was missing. I look forward to seeing where my journey takes me and am thrilled that there is this lovely audience to share it with. Happy Friday :)
