moments like this
Sunday, June 21, 2009 at 9:30PM
I have gone over and over my experience this weekend at The Mother's Plunge in hopes that I could do it justice in words. Then I read what Jena shared on her blog about it. Bullseye baby! She said it perfectly and poetically and took the words right out of my heart.
Being there on that magical misty day, I felt like I had won the lottery. Like every word was spoken directly to me, for me, to guide and teach me. My guess is that everyone else there felt the same way.
Share with us a shot today that was meant to be. The one you knew would be your Best Shot today.

Oh Tracey, I love your words "She took the words right out of my heart." You speak to my heart.
Yellow Rose
It is funny when something just kind of jumps out at you. I took hundreds of photos last week, but this one shot of one of my tomato plants caught my eye.
It sounds like you had a wonderful experience. I love when I have photos that take me back to a special time or place. And I love the dyptic!
My best shot.
Love your shots! Like Amy Joe, I had plenty of opportunity to take a ton of photos, but this was the one that worked best.

Sounds like it was a magical time or you. My best shot gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling.
I too, love your words, so uplifting. Thank you! it makes me want to be their.
This weekend, I took photos for my friend who is expecting her first child. There were so many beautiful shots, but decided to post this one because I love how her hubby is kissing her.

Magical indeed. That is just lovely.
We are celebrating school (finally) coming to a close last week and our first official day of SUMMER!
i read jena's post too, and i can only imagine how amazing that experience must have been. what a delight.
i started participating in a new "sunday summer" photo project and i think that post definitely fits as a shot that is just worth it all....

i am here from SS today and really relished the words and image about the weekend...i wish I had been closer to attend but your links helped!
It has been hot, humid and rainy which is rough on me, but my garden is loving it. Here is one of my favorite shots ... I am getting lost in color! http://www.flickr.com/photos/7724232@N03/3639476813/in/set-72157619410895510/
Your images do justice to the day in a way that my words never could. Thank you. Let's keep sharing the love.
It started out as a simple shot of a single gerbera daisy, then grew into something else. I normally don't PP this way, so it ends up as my Best shot of the week:
gerbera daisy
I just wanted to capture a sweet and candid father-son moment and had to write what I was feeling, of course! I hope you enjoy. :) http://oneyearofbeauty.blogspot.com/2009/06/june-21-2009.html
What a treat that link to Jena's blog was. I love the stillness in your photos; seems like the retreat offered you a chance at just that. This week I'm sharing a shot of my boy chasing butterflies.
Beautiful pictures. Check out my own little "flower"
cheers from australia -- i'm hoping to get lots of great shots from this trip, but here's my BSM:
no worries
What beautiful shots. Here's mine, from a father's day fishing trip that didn't actually feature much fishing.
Love these images. So glad you enjoyed your time. I love how words appear when you need them most.
