We took a well-deserved ride to the nature park and just 'chilled'. This calm and peaceful time together DELIGHTED AND THRILLED ME to no end! The weather was cool and looming clouds brought more rain and calm.

My oldest just turned five and she likewise was just ecstatic about every part of this year's birthday. You captured that very moment so well--such a spark of personality and unedited joy. Love this!

We celebrated a friend's birthday this weekend, and we started collecting our bounty!

I love her expression it says it all. Sounds like your week was much like ours. We celebrated a couple of birthdays and ate lots of cake. My daughter was the same way this year. Every gift she opened was exactly what she wanted and the best gift ever. It is so fun to give them gifts when they get so excited.

Such a great moment captured! We celebrated a 6th birthday last weekend, and I didn't exactly get any best shots. My camera is being replaced. But I'm hoping by next year I will have pictures like this. Maybe even in 2 weeks, when we celebrate a double 1st birthday for our twins.

Our 6th b-day celebration was full of gratitude also -- perhaps it's a milestone age. I hope so!

I LOVE your MBS. What a perfect picture of a childhood birthday! Doesn't every mother dream that her child would look just like that on his/her birthday?

I haven't played along in a while. I've felt rather uninspired with my pictures, despite taking lots and lots of images. I did a series of photo shoots this past weekend, but this little guest appearance deserves to be MBS.
