sparkle

This weekend we went to a birthday party where the guests of honor were Arial and Jasmine. My daughter, like most of the little girls there were transfixed. All it takes it some face paint and glitter and my daughter is transported to a far away land. She wore her crown the rest of the day.

I may not be a girlie-girl but watching my daughter get caught up in the magic of make-believe fascinates me. Sometimes I wish I was as easily swept away. There's a little bit of bliss in that.

Is there any magic you'd like to share for Best Shot Monday? Sweep us off our feet.

Gosh, I love those eyelashes. Last weekend Harrison was swept up in all things "boy" - Military day and bugs. In honor of Memorial day, here's my best "military day" shot, short and sweet for this week.

I too wish I could be swept away so easily! Beautiful shot. I have my mother on board today for a special Memorial Day tribute.

Ohhh how magical indeed! Simple. Innocent. Lovely.

So, I gave birth to our Lily last week...she's beyond amazing! My best shot is of the two sisters meeting for the first time. I LOVE it! :)

We've done facepainting at our daughter's last two bday parties. Even the boys love it.

My best shot is of my teen's First Date

How beautiful & fun. We had a Ariel & Tinkerbelle party for the twins' 5th and it was definitely a magical moment.

What a lovely picture of your daughter - the sparkle gets me every time, too.

Today we were thinking of the veterans in our lives who aren't with us anymore, so here's my best shot.

I think there is something MAGICAL about patriotism. Please, come and visit.

Such a gorgeous shot. Bliss is such a great word.

I'm a little late sharing.... but here's mine!

The 'sweeping us off our feet' line is just way too appropriate for my best shot this week. (You'll see why when you take a look!) I too enjoyed watching little girls getting lost in play time, but from a slightly different angle.

This weekend was bittersweet - we celebrated the life of a father who since recently, is no longer with us. Beauitful stories and memories.

Beautiful capture. Love the angle of her face and the softness. I can look at this image and know it's yours. So much light.
