This weekend we went to a birthday party where the guests of honor were Arial and Jasmine. My daughter, like most of the little girls there were transfixed. All it takes it some face paint and glitter and my daughter is transported to a far away land. She wore her crown the rest of the day.
I may not be a girlie-girl but watching my daughter get caught up in the magic of make-believe fascinates me. Sometimes I wish I was as easily swept away. There's a little bit of bliss in that.

Gosh, I love those eyelashes. Last weekend Harrison was swept up in all things "boy" - Military day and bugs. In honor of Memorial day, here's my best "military day" shot, short and sweet for this week.
I too wish I could be swept away so easily! Beautiful shot. I have my mother on board today for a special Memorial Day tribute.

This weekend was bittersweet - we celebrated the life of a father who since recently, is no longer with us. Beauitful stories and memories.
