together

Of course my Best Shot today is something that I captured of my daughter and I from our day of wandering. I'm going to print this one twice. Once for my office and once for my daughter's bulletin board of important things (you know those middle school bulletin boards where everything that is special in your life goes) so that we are both reminded of our day together. Of living and loving and being. Together. Maybe I'm making too big a deal of it. I don't know. I just know that it's not always easy to put agendas to the side and focus on being in the moment. Together.

Do you have any thoughts to reflect on this week? Any special moment that you can savor in memory? Or in a photograph?

A wonderful and meaningful shot indeed. You can never take this time for granted. Savour every moment. Mine is about doing things together as well.

I look forward to my daughter being old enough to enjoy a day like that with me - it looks like you had a great time. I finally was together enough this morning (well, decided not to shower, but anyway...) to put something up.

When I read about your outing with your daughter the other day, it made me so look forward to my future. My little girl is only 20 months old, but I already envision us having days like those. Thanks for sharing a piece of it with us.

Here is my best shot from last week. A simple reminder to stop and notice the little things.

I love your last two posts about togetherness. Especially this picture. It really tops off a wonderful post.

What a cool shot! The theme over at I Heart Faces this week is 'self-portrait' (I think it can be you alone or with a child) and you have to be holding your camera at the time you take it. You should enter this photo!

My best shot is all about how much I need, long, YEARN for springtime to finally descend upon us mountain folk. I needed a burst of color this morning!

You're not making too big a deal of it, not at all. It is pretty darn special.

And this is special, too - a picture of the WHOLE family!

i love special days or moments with the kids individually. when it's something that happens spontaneously, even better. looks like a lovely time!

my favorite thing about that photo is that your cheek is resting on her sweet head. I do that all the time with my son.

we've been in CT visiting family and I got a ton of great -together- shots that I'll cherish.

It is so hard to put everything aside and just live in the moment. You can tell by looking at this photo that you guys were having a great time being together.

She's growing up, isn't she? She's going to always remember this one.

Somehow we've managed to be on the same wave length again. Though I posted late last night before yours was up, I'm accepting and enjoying the moment.

You are absolutely not making too big of a deal out of such a fantastic day. No agenda and an entire day of not worrying about anything but spending time together...it IS a big deal.

We are savoring the summer-like weekend over at our place.

This is a wonderful shot - my shot of the weekend is at : http://martagon.blogspot.com/2009/04/mighty-hellebore.html

Every time we can make it to an event that we always go to I think of how we are making memories for our girls. Even though they still complain after a long day. ;-) My Best Shot

I had written and published a post in anticipation of your best shot Monday but when I came here and read your thoughts on today I'm not going to link it because it's too depression for your thoughtful post.

Beautiful shot of you and your daughter. Beautiful thoughts to linger on for today.

Loving this shot, your mama/daughter bond and all the board represents.

no you are not making too much of it...it is a moment in time ...and we all know how fast that goes!

I had some encouragement from Tanya to link my post...so I will...sorry for being so indecisive. I hope you don't mind.

Very 'sweet shot' of you and your daughter...someday she'll love looking back on those photos and seeing how much the little moments with her meant to you!
Happy Monday!

What a great picture! I had a similar one I captured of my daughter in the mirror of an old BMW motorcycle I was trying to get a picture of. She was behind me watching and I caught her reflection.

That is sweet! We took a few minutes to check on the animals at Petco. (One of my son's favorite things to do):

I caught a moment with my nephew and his papa... Both in the air. Love the little guy jumping with excitement when his dad tried to show him a trick!
