little glimmers

Meredith begs the question where do you find light? The truth is I find it everywhere. Each day, each night I seek it out. I mine for it. I need it to survive; to thrive. Even in the darkest of nights, there is a sparkle somewhere, waiting to be found. My eyes don't always see clearly but they can almost always find some glimmer of hope and promise to get me through until the sun comes again.

How about you? Where do you find it?

As ironic as it may seem, the brightest light is in the deep dark eyes of my daughter...a twinkle that is purely irresistable.

Tracey, this is amazing. Mind me asking what lens you used?

meg, my most favorite lens in all the word is my Canon 50mm Compact Macro (it's not quite as fast at the fixed 50mm) but it's pretty close and the Macro thing ROCKS!
my 2nd favorite is my Lensbaby with the superwide. between the 2 of them, it's like having the best of both worlds.

I *think* i'm getting the superwide attachment for my lensbaby for xmas (not that I've been checking my amazon wish list purchases or anything, lol) and I can't wait. I also won a rental credit... i started with the 100mm macro but I'll be interested in the 50mm. I dont know, i don't put so much on the "speed" of the lens anymore - sometimes its ok to sacrifice that for other awesome features! Thanks for the info, tracey! I think I'll try that puppy out. You are certainly getting some amazing results with it :D
