I had a very similar experience, in the pacific northwest a few weeks ago myself. Already posted those shots a couple weeks ago, but it left me feeling completely full of love.

I found your blog from a link to the photo in Ali's blog. Don't usually write my thoughts....I often read these b;pgs as a way of relaxing and undwinding and finding new artistic ideas. I read down through your and noticed your cat. It looks just like my cat. A cat that is very much a part of my life and I felt tears as I read through your story. I felt compelled to write you and a connection as a cat owner and lover. I am sorry for your loss. I just discovered the Oregon coast two years ago.
